Default please help... weird parking lights issue after 2 amps and sub install.

Okay I install 2 amps, one for sub and one for the front speakers. Directly link the the front speakers with amp. The issue is that my parking lights would sink to the bass of the music even if the parking light switch is off, one more issue is that my parking lights wont turn on even with the switch on. I took off the wires that was previously install and still the parking lights wont turn on. Checked all the fuses and they are all fine.

Where did you ground the amp? I'm assuming the remote wire is connected to the remote output of the pioneer deck?

Did you do any work in the drivers kick panel? Did you run new wires to the door speakers?

yes I did all that. Just checked the 10amp fuse blew out for the parking lights, replaced it and keeps blowing out so what I did was replaced it with a 15 amp and everything is fine now.

Actually, it's not - you shouldn't replace an OEM fuse with a larger fuse. The wiring isn't big enough to safely carry 15A and can lead to an electrical fire.

Did you connect anything to the parking lights?

I think its my boost gauge. Its wired directly to my illumination wire and when I took it off it worked fine, but when I put the wire back on it blew out. Why would it start blowing out now though

Thats interesting. Things do go bad - sounds like a bad coincidence.

I installed a shift light in a guys WRX once and when I got done the radio didn't work. After troubleshooting it for a while I found that the clip that held the OEM fuse in wasn't making good contact and it just happend to fail as I was working on the car (I didn't touch the fuse box). Sometimes things just happen at strange times.
