Default Alpine Amp Connectors

I have attatched a picture of exactly what i need. I was told by the people at best buy that my sound would be alot louder because i didn't have enough and was overloading them (not his words but what i understood the problem to be). i didn't really understand but he was real honest, hooked me up with some free parts and was very professional so i trusted him. I'm trying to see if anyone knows what these are called or where they can be purchased. i grabbed this one off an ebay picture but the seller had no more to sell.

i need them for an alpine pdx 4.150

Your post is a little unclear as I read it as to what your problem was that lead to you needing these plug in modules, but anyway........

Those are the power plug modules for the PDX series amps. You insert your power, ground, and (i think) remote wires and then you plug the module into the amp. Supposedly it makes installation easier. I've always found them to be more of a pain in the a$$ when doing installs. It's also just 1 more place of failure. Several amp manufacturers choose to use them. My most recent run-in with them was on my Crossfire VR705d that I had in my Xterra.

But anyway, I'm sure any authorized Alpine dealer can get them for you, or keep searching ebay.

basically my install guy told me i did not have enough of those installed in my amps. He said i should have 1 per channel and as of right now, i have a 2:1 ratio. He said if i bought 2 more (4 total for 4 channels) then i would have alot better sound quality and that my sound system would be alot louder.

I stand corrected on my previous post. They aren't for power, but rather they are for connecting your speaker wire to the amp. For your 4-channel amp, you should have 4 of those connectors. If your speaker configuration requires all 4 channels of your amp to be used, then yes you will need all 4 connectors.

Like I said before, contact an authorized Alpine dealer, or contact Alpine-USA directly.
