Well if the antenna is shaved? are you planning on removing the body work and reinstalling?

If not search on the interior side of the car where the oem antenna used to be, remove the plastic interior paneling and you could:

1. Reconnect a larger universal antenna and mount it under the plastic, odds are it would work (pick up reception still) in the hatch area under plastic panels....and you can stay with the shaved look?

or

2. See the body filler and work done in that area and from the inside out a good body shop can locate and remove the body "shave" work and then i figure you can go to a dealership and get the base, or you can go to a local junk yard and pull the base and reinstall back to stock.

if you do #2, then you can go with any antenna....link below is what typical Z owners do...

Default antenna

I just installed the antenna from the 08 Avenger...
I have a Kenwood HU...I seem to have improved my reception and the fit is good. Just under $9

Maybe get something like this and install it under the plastic cover on the rear strut bar. For $25, it's worth a try.....

^ bingo, thats like what i was thinking........didnt realize they had hideways out there.....cool..

yeah, i wouldn't want to mess with removing the body filler and paint done on the shave job..........if its clean, i would leave it alone..
