I have the kw-avx800 and the radio itself is nice, but the components get lost sometimes (meaning they don't show up on the radio menu screen) and need to be unpluged and re-pluged from time to time. Also, the i-pod interface I have doesn't bring up playlists or the library, only plays a list if I start it and then plug it in.
They may have fixed these glitches by now.

I was very happy with the JVC KD-AVX2 in my sentra (until some bastard broke into my car, took the face and jacked up the rest of the radio because they knew d ick about stereos).....anywho....the JVC dvd player i had gave me no problems over 3 years and the wma/mp3's on dvd was awesome. 4.7 gigs on one disc. good expand-ability options. For the most part it looks like that JVC looks just as solid and worth it. my 2 cents

Thats a tough one but when it all comes down to it, the security feature of the JVC is the winner. I have the JVC 7000 which is the exact same as the 820 except it has Nav and its pretty sweet. I do like the AVH-P4100 for its ease of use and quicker Ipod control though.

Thanks Orgasm and Subdermal on the insight of the slow JVC ipod control and security feature. Two good points to consider.
What about the bluetooth feature?
any comments/tips?
