Default Sub box reduce road noise?

Just wondering if anyone who has installed a Zenclosure, either under strut or or the type S noticed a reduction in road noise? I was wondering if it made sort of a partition between the trunk and interior.

Yes, I understand the bass output will cut down the road noise.

A majority of the road noise you hear in the Z is going to be coming from the floorboards under the seats and the glovebox/oem sub location areas. So to answer your question, no a sub box installed in the hatch will not do much to quell interior road noise.

LOL. Why the f*ck would u think a sub box would reduce road noise?

(yes, I have a Zenclosure box. And no, I didn't buy it to reduce road noise or any other dilusional fantasy, but because it looks nice and was at the right price.)

Maybe u should get quieter tires or sound deaden your car (look it up, it's in here somewhere).

You are not going to get sound reduction from a box from what I have read and done, you need to tear out a lot of your interior and lay down dynamat or rawmat. This will reduce a lot of the noise you are hearing.

When I had a C5 Z06 there was a partition that I installed and it made a huge difference in road noise and exhaust drone. It was not a dilusional fantasy.
