Default New Xenarc with Ultra Brightness

I had to get a new Xenarc screen, Cracked the touchscreen overlay on the old one. The LCVD still works, but I figured might as well get a new one with ultrabrightness option. The old one had way too much glare.

Have not got it in the car for pics, hope to have it done tonight, but here are a few pics. Notice not much glare in a rom full of light and full Flash from the camera.

I've been seriously considering getting another xenarc with the ultrabright. Do you notice significant difference already? Where did you order from, spysupply? Can't wait to see pics of your install.

I do notice a difference from my other one. I am waiting on a few things to come in the mail before putting everything back together. So I hope to have a few outside shots in the next day or two.

Hey dude, can we have an update on this?? Is it in your car and does it look alot better than the orginial Xenarc without the ultrabright?? I am wondering, of course, cause the ultrabright is like $200 more, is it worth all that money(good question for you since you have had one with and without this feature)??

I heard the ultrabright option worked by applying a film that just reduced the viewing angle of the screen; which obviously would be a problem for the people in the car to see.

was this information incorrect; or not important?

pretty expensive for just a film (how does reducing viewing angle increase brightness?) Think they upgrade the inverter for the backlight. Give more power to it and making it brighter. The film could be true, but don't see how it would work?
