Just purchased and had this unit installed today. thought i would post some pictures incase anyone else was considering putting an in dash in.

i like it alot, havent had to much time to play around with it, i paid $850 with install. the guy gave me a good deal, thats why i went for it, but alpine has a good rep.

no i didn't purchase it online, i ended up getting a better deal at my local dealer, i dont know to much about kenwood, i bought it a local dealer also because i will get lifetime warranty, which is something you dont get with online

thanks, i was going to get the jvc, but im glad i paid a little more and will be happier in the long run.

Stan,

I think the best feature of Alpine is the great LCD display (crisp, clear, and easily read in bright light).

The only alternative that matches Alpine's bright display is Kenwood LCD screens.

ya it has a great display, i dont know to much about the kenwoods, but im loving this unit so far, works great with the ipod, which is my main source

That is a great unit. And actually very user friendly, unlike Kenwoods lol.

great choice. I had a W203 for quite awhile. sold it with my Z though. Had to move up to the W205 though, so I could dock the blackbird to it in the Suby.

o nice, im pretty sure you can add the blackbird to this one. Right? thats what the guy said, but i dont drive the car enough to need navigation right now.

it is an external adapter on the 203 I believe. It goes inside the 205
