Default Anyone recommend DDX512? Another affordable DDin?

I'm looking for an affordable (preferably sub-$300) double din for my 07 Z. I've almost decided on the DDX512 which I can get for about 300 online. I just wanted people's opinions on the unit before I buy it, particularly owners of them. I would also be open to any opinions anyone has for a reliable unit that meets my needs, especially if it saves me some money.
All I really want is a double din that will be reliable, user friendly, allow me to use my ipod, and look/fit well in the Z. I am definitely open to older, proven models that I can find on ebay or pick up used(not asking you to find me the deal, just interested in some models to shop for). Let me know what you guys recommend.
Oh and it does need to have the ability to run two amps since I am hooking up my new components/amp now and will be adding subs/amp later on.

Default Ddx514

I just purchased and received the Kenwood DDX514, the model just above the 512. Installing it some time this week. I got it for 310.00 from Amazon.

They have the ddx512 and 514 for the same price. That's strange. It's the newer version of the 512 so I would expect it to be more but that may be what I end up ordering if no one recommends anything better. Thanks for the heads up on the amazon price and let me know how the install goes. What dash kit did you buy?
