ive never owned anything other than units from the AVIC line; what makes this better, because the screen is a lot smaller and looks odd having the screen offset to the right

Thanks for the compliments, it works great and only took about 3hours to install using a Metra kit. My only problem is that sometimes when using the bluetooth the unit freezes after hanging up the call. Apparently pioneers releasing a update for this.

Yeah, the screens not the biggest out there but it gets the job done. Only cost me $400

thats nice, and bluetooth i see, did you get the steering wheel module for it? i havent dont that yet with my Head unit

Nope I haven't yet, but i do plan on doing it. I love having bluetooth/gps/ipod. It was exactly what i was looking for.

UPDATE. I had to move the GPS antenna from the top of the dash to the roof. I couldn't get a strong enough gps signal.

i dont like the small screen...nice install and im sure its a nice unit but the screen is smaller than the one on my blackberry
