Default Help Indash Boss Bv9555

Well i went to Auto Xtremes today to get my Boss bv9555 7'' touch screen double din dvd head unit installed, and the headunit it self did not line up with the bracets inside the dash so if anyone has had this problem before or has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Thinking about returning headunit and purchashing another and would also like to know if any of you have preferences. not looking to spend over $450 on a dvd head unit thanks.

Default Headunit

Pioneer 4100 DVD is like 450 - 475 from Sonic Electronix and/or Woofersetc.com

better than a Boss, good reviews, preamp out's and better quality.

spend the extra 25 bucks...

OP, if you are saying in your first post that the headunit sits out too far from the center stack when using the factory brackets, you will have that issue with any aftermarket headunit. You or your installer will need to elongate the factory holes (or drill new holes) for the headunit to sit flush.

Installer had messed up on the stock brackets he had the headunit as far forward as it could go like a tool. so i took the headunit out which i was actually not pleased with and returned it.. Now trying to decided what to buy.

It should have either said high or low not both. But I think that code is referring to the input from the coolant temp sensor. The sensor may be bad. That or the only other thing close to that code may have been that it said "engine temp is below thermostat regulating temp" which would likely mean that your thermostat is stuck open. Thats my two cents...GL.
