JL Audio HD 900/5 is a great amp. Price is a bit up there but worth it IMO.

Next line up would be the Alpine PDX-5 for me, a little less power thent he HD 900/5.

If space isn't an issue then you could possibly find a ED Nine.5 big **** though.

Simple: Don't run rear speakers and get a nice 4-channel amp.

Digital Designs S4 is 100 Watts X2 and 200 watts X2. Bridge 3+4 for the sub(s) and you'll be good to go!

Possibly he could need the 4ch for the front active setup + 5th channel for subwoofer as well. But I don't know.

ya it is f/r setup. i have been looking, and there are a few that will fit, and i like the convenience of a single amp. the jl HD series are a bit pricey right now, but that would be my first choice. i have always run jl stuff, so i'm not really sure what else would be a good economical brand

My personal favorite 5 channel amp is the Crossfire VR705D. It is a very nicely built amp with clean under-rated power on all channels. It is rated at 12 volts, so be sure to add about 20% to the ratings for 14.4 volt use.

well "budget" is a tough word. i am looking for something to fit the glovebox(max 18x12), roughly 75w rms x4, and 150w rms x1......adn looking for a decent quality amp, and spend as little as possible.
i am powering the jl 10w3, and infinity 6032si front/6022si rear, so i am not looking for a window shaker obviously, just strong/clear sound

Well we have done plenty of 350Z and install plenty of amps in glove box. I for sure know that you can get a 500/5 in there...

I have one I can do for $499.95 shipped to your door.
Excellent amp for the Z...

100X2 Front
25X2 Rear (you don't need any more having them right behind your head)
250Watts of Vlean Power to the Sub which is perfect..

19.7 x 9.25

My personal amp right now is a US Amps AX5600. Hand built in the USA, high quality, high end amp. I love it!

^- I was looking at this amp, but it won't fit in the Z glove box

It would probably clear in the space w/o the glove box in place, but I want to refrain from mounting it w/o the glove box.

Yah, it's not a small amp.. I put mine in the trunk under the strut bar. I'm running a pair of RE SR10D4 subs in a nice small sealed box just to the rear of the amp. All fits nicely under the factory trunk carpet
