My cousin is getting a combo price for his G35 sound system, just here to check out with everyone see if he got a good deal.

HU : Eclipse AVN726E
Subwoofer : JL Audio 12W1 x1
Amplifer : JL Audio 1800d x2

The total price is $1500 installed.

Okay, he ended up with this setup, looks very good, im thinking about getting the same setup myself, check this out

Is this a good deal? If it is, im thinking about getting exactly the same setup myself =)

 

Does the headunit have navigation? It doesnt seem like a bad deal if it does. That HU goes for 1299.00 on Crutchfield.com. Jl is a good brand to as long as they do a good install its not a bad deal at all. Also make sure its not refurbished stuff your getting.

I've never listened to anything below a w3 series sub, I know that the amp you have there is great! Also with the listed price of the HU, sounds like a good deal, now remember if you get the JL products, where ever you're getting them from, make sure they're an authorized dealer.

hmmm so you suggest swapping the w1s with w3s? Im not a huge fan of crazy bass tho

 

2x w3's isn't crazy bass, it'll hit it's not going to move tons of air, but it'll hit. Now if you want to do crazy bass, (which you don't) then you'd go with dual w6's or just absurd bass would be two 10w7's. Yes as all things it gets more expensive and you could always look at some Rockford-fosgate P3's. I would definitely upgrade to the w3's.
