i have a kenwood ddx6019 and am looking for an interface for the ipod touch. do i need the oem kenwood ip500 module? or will one of the knock off ebay cable only adapters work?
anyone have experience with the newer touch as far as what i can get (info/video/controls) into my hu?

 

You need a Kenwood KCA-IP500. The cable adaptors will not work since this part is an interface box made by Kenwood. You will not be able to get video from any IPOD using this adaptor and it is very slow, since it is not a USB interface.

says i cant get video, or ipod control from the HU, nor does it charge the new touch..... true?
