Honestly, I dont even think it would be worth going through all that trouble of taking apart all those panels in the rear to replace those speakers... Trust me, even if your thinking of putting 4-ways, it still won't sound half as decent as your expecting... The seat just blocks sooo much of the sound... I'd say get some decent components for the front with an amp and call it a day...

Hi and welcome,

As davdv mentions, you will get the best result by researching what other members have done to get the best sound. You do this by reading threads and replies on this topic. You discover the threads by searching on this sub-forum.

Some keywords you can use to begin your search project: “speakers”, “rear speakers”, “coaxial”, “component”, etc. After doing a couple of searches, you will see other keywords that take you to even more information and search possibilities.

After doing some searching and reading the existing threads and posts related to your question, you may need more specific information. That’s the appropriate time to start a new thread asking for information that is not already provided here.

Your question may seem simple at its most elemental level, but you will be surprised by all the discussion about what you ask after searching here.

Take a lesson from one of the many knowledgeable folks on the forum. I've been looking into changing my audio equipment for a few days and have already run into a few audiophiles. I'm going to trust their trial and error, I suggest you do the same. Best of luck with the car and more importantly, welcome!
