I want to put a single din JVC KD-R600 HU in my 2003 BOSE/Navi. equipped 350Z. I have purchased the Metra 70-7551 amp integration harness already, but now I'm hearing about the PAC ROEM-NIS2. Is this yet another piece that I have to buy? I hear people saying you need it, and others saying you don't need it. PLEASE HELP!
I will also be installing a Kicker 750.1 monoblock amp pushing 1 10" sub if that factors in to this...
...I'm so confused...

He said he has a "BOSE/Navi"
OP, it's an either/or setup. I've heard a lot of people use the PAC and like it. I'm not sure but I think it's "tune-able" so that you can get rid of the "hum". I used the Metra and for my needs it was fine. I got a slight hum if I was listening to my iPod and had it paused or between songs. It was only slight and didn't bother me at all.
I assume your HU has pre-outs (RCA plugs)? If not, you would use the Metra 70-7550.

Thank you for your help Treefiddy! If anyone has any other advice or info I should know about before installing, please let me know. I have been searching around the net for a few weeks now and it seems like I'm constantly running into an issue or possible problem with installing a aftermarket HU.
I have another question. I was looking at P a c - a u d i o . c o m 's website and they said along with running the PAC ROEM-NIS2, if you are going to run an additional amp (in my case, a mono amp to power my sub) that you needed to get their "C cable" as well? And that when using the C cable your system should be running at a low output level? So I can't play my music loud?
Here is what I was looking at. Tell me if this makes since....
