Default Nav Rapair?

I have an original 2003 350Z with 160K miles. My nav system went completely blank, dead, then came on for a day, then off another day, on, off, and now is dead again for a week. I tried to check cables but I can't get it to work. Has anybody had this problem? Is there any way to get my nav system working again? With 160K miles and having nav on my iPhone, I don't have any interest in buying and installing another nav system but I would really like to fix this.

well, being that i have researched a bunch i would start with replacing brain thats behind there....

Those are some of the symptons i had with my nav when they screwed up an install and taped its wire for power...

ill try and find some pics or part numbers. but any dealership parts counter guy should be able to find the parts fish and show you. check courtesy parts.com - they have a good parts fish online you can see.

edit - Awesome 160K miles! Win!

Thanks, I'll check that out. I'm going to pull the unit out tomorrow.
