Default Engine noise after installing new HU

I have 03 touring with the Bose system (no nav) and I replaced the HU with an eclipse cd5030 and left everything else as is. I used the wiring harness that has the RCAs on it. My problem is that now at low volumes Im getting some kind of interference that is like a whining noise that gets louder as the rpm increases. I grounded the HU on the ground wire that was on the wiring harness I bought. Is that ground my problem? If so where is a good place to ground it to back there? Thanks for any help

The aftermarket radio ground on my 03 z bose does't go through the harness ground. I have a ring terminal on the black radio ground going to the metal radio mount frame, lower left mount screw. I am running 3 external amps with no dirty noise whatever.
