if that also doesn't work, I've had good luck with this:

just watch your head on the roof.

Did you ever find a real solution to this? We just purchased a 2003 350z and want to update the nav DVD, but can't get the old one to eject

Does it make any sounds when you press eject? I don't have the nav unit but a cd got stuck in my stock cd player. I took a paperclip and bent it to make a small hook at the end. Then put it in, latched it to the open ring in the middle and pulled it out.

The player took in another cd and it played but wouldn't eject again. Ended up buying an aftermarket HU.

There is no solution. When the device fails to eject a disk, it's no longer repairable and requires replacement.
