I am getting a tick, tick, tick noise from the front speakers when I start my car. BUT, the sound goes away as soon as I play some music through the speakers. Does anyone know what would cause this? If it's a ground issue, why does it stop after music comes through the sound system?

 

the Z always has something ticking or clunking man. i had the same noise, thought it was coming through my speakers to but it was really cming from inside my dash somewhere,after a while it just stopped though.

 

Arabian install? If so

the sound is coming from ure headunit. the internal amp is reaching an end, time for some new toys!!
