I just installed a 7500 dvd flip out screen, and it does not sound nearly the same. Ity is about half as loud as it used to be. Was it the installer that messed up?

 

Bose sound is gone and your complaining!

In all seriousness I would call that installer right away.

 

you should be the otrher way around, Bose gone, sound quality and headroom should have doubled... not halved. Soemthing is wrong, and I wouldn't have left that shop with a crummy install...go back and have them fix it soon !

 

So you can keep the Bose system and replace only the headunit without compromising anything? Do you need an adapter? Doesn't that degrade the SQ? If I can keep everything Bose and put in a better HU, tell me what I need!
