Default Can I install any aftermarket 10" sub in the stock location?

I want to get one of these 10" JL Audio subs:

Would I be able mount it in the stock bose sub location?

There are a great number of threads that discuss what you are asking. A search provides lots of information.

The simple answer is YES you can do this, but the caveat is fitting an enclosure in relatively small and irregularly shaped compartment behind the driver or passenger seat.

Here is a behind-the-seat solution that has a professional build and sounds pretty good for this position:

Wicked preloads the enclosure because not every SubW will sound good here (depending upon the speaker’s specification for required volume to get the best sound).
