2 10" polk db and 500w jl amp..220$
should and could i move the stock 10 and amp into the trunk with these to have 3 10s will cover subs so cant see?

2 12" Jl W7s...250$ and 130 for jl 500w amp till i can save and get another amp,
dont really need so much bass from the w7s any more but love these subs the bang!! and i can manouver the 10s a little better I think and looking to keep inexpesive for now. what do I do with the stock sub amp? can I take my power and grounds off where the stock sub is or should I still go straight to battery for power?

without doing a crazy box you won't get 2 12"s of any brand really, let alone W7's. The airspace needed by 1 10" W7 would take up your entire hatch just about. So i guess that leaves you with the polks. go look at Zenclosures.com for a box, they have a decent cheap one for 2 10"s

I have 2 8w7's in a ported 2.6 cubic foot box, and they hit amazing. Those prices for the equipment, sounds like you're buying either used or non-JL authentic equipment. The w7 line isn't cheap, I bough both of my 8's for $329 a piece during the factory authorized sale a while ago.
There's a user on here that's running two 10 w7's and I can't imagine how much those take up if ported.

Thanks for the replys. I am going to be customizing the whole hatch just not sure how I wanna go about it yet; function and leave some space or rock out the whole thing.either way I am not looking for anything to crazy subs wise looking for more sq. thinking 2 10s for space if i keep acess to the rear hatch n spare n 12's if i go all out. any suggestions something affordable? no prob with used. and they were not W7s it was jl

If you're sure you want to do a set of subs, I'd stay with just dual 10's. Since it's a hatchback and nice and small 10's would be the biggest thing I'd do in a Z.
My enclosure for my 8's
I'll be honest that I don't know much about audio, there are many others here who could give you a better idea of what to do. The only reason I went with JL, I (bought the HD amps a while ago when I didn't know any better) but I love the quality of audio I get from them I'll probably stick with them, unless I hear something else that's just as clean. Don't just go on my suggestion, wait for a few people like:
