BOSE player troubles
hi, im new here & this is my first thread. i have 2003 roadster & few weeks ago i notice troubles with my BOSE player. if im using the CD & driving on bad road, sometimes the left speakers will be off by themselves & then they will resturn back depending on the road condition. i though its wire loose issue but i dnt have this problem with radio. recently, sub will also turned off by itself on bad roads, & now it happens with both CD & radio but most of the times with the CD.
now what is exactly the problem?
im willing to get louder sound from my system so what mods i can do? some people asked me to nt change anything on the system cos its a BOSE system & its the best, so what do u think guys?

First off... Bose is not the best... Nowhere near!
Second... I would guess your problem is either in the head unit (cd/radio player in the dash) or in the factory bose amplifier.
Short of looking for damaged wiring at both of these units, which is unlikely, the only real way to test would be to replace them.
I know it's probably not what you wanted to hear, and not cheap to fix either.
If it were my personal vehicle, I'd start thinking about going aftermarket.
Also, just curious from your username, is your name Alain? Same as mine...

Reading your problem description, the most likely cause is the Bose H/U. Other owners on this forum report the same problem and fix this by replacing the Bose H/U.
Since the Bose H/U in the 2003 Z is considered to be quite poor, it’s frequently replaced with aftermarket equipment. That means there are many Bose OEM units available for purchase, and you should be able to find a replacement. They are worth about $25 to $40 plus postage/shipping. The only downside is you may end up with one that has the same problem.

i went to cars stereo shop here n Dubai & he said that the problem is in the ICU of the CD player (i dunno what is the function of this part or where its) but he said that it can be fixed & its quite cheap like 40 US $
aftermarket idea s good but the prob s we dnt have much brands here like n US, most of them r Chinese. famous brands here r: pioneer, kenwood, JBL, infinity, sony, LG, & now we got Philips, & few of alpine & clarion. i heared alot about kicker but its quite difficult to find here
regardin the name, my real name is ISLAM but SA7ER AL3AIN is jus a nick name & its an arabic, it means Eye Magician
