Default need help with NAVI/HU wont turn off and feedback

hopefully someone can help with a little input please anyone lol 437 views in my other thread but no replys.
an update:

pioneer f90bt installed in an 05 350z with bose. I used a wire harness from autozone not the pac oem stuff and i have run into some issues. this is how it is wired up

I got everything in up and running when I tested it.

car-HU
12v-12v
illum-illum
ign/ power ant/amp - acc/pwr ant/amp (was told do this b/c amp and ant will always turn on when ign switched
chassis ground - ground/mute bypass and another wire ( he said leave like this he had the it bypassed already)

and all speaker wire connected

great sound from CD and radio although seems to be some feed back when not on or muted
-could this be from grounding everything to one point? saw someone diy said use 3 ground points or at least 2? I didnt know if for some reason to use the bypass have to be all together.

**PROBLEMS**
RADIO DOES NOT TURN OFF WHEN CAR IS OFF??? WTH
- i do still have dash apart and just plugged radio in to make sure speakers work etc. can this be it?
I dissconnected radio and tested the harness going into the radio.
12v reads 12. acc reads 12 when on 0 when off. speakers read 3v on both the + and -
amp and ant both 0 till plugged into HU

at a loss here

thinking the feedback is coming from the speakers getting juice even when muted and car off??? maybe because didnt use the pac oem harnesses?

no clue
main concern is that it is not powering off? battery is gonna die lol

oh and it reconizes my ipod screen comes up artist etc but no sound? could this be they are not compatable? it says it is unable to charge with it and when i check capablility says 5gen but not 5gen nano? gonna have to try someone elses. kid had it working fine he said and has been super helpful so far no reason he would lie

So you connected your amp output to your ignition input?????????????????

The point of the amp output is to provide a 12vdc output to turn an amp on.

The point of the ignition input is to tell the radio when the ignition is on, and thus turning the radio on.

You've basically created a latch - when the radio turns on the amp output turns on providing power back to your ignition input and never letting the ignition turn off.

Powering the entire accessory circuit with the amp output could possibly damage the radio.

The amp output needs to be connected to the remote signal on the bose amp and that is it.

thank you so so so so much!!! super helpful gonna go try out now? i was going to pull the amp wire out of the way it is and try it just connect the way it should be.

is it okay to have the ign power the ant? the kid I bought off of said sometimes when you hook the pwr ant from radio to the pwr ant from car it does not work? this is why he said I should hook the amp up to the ign this way the amp will turn on when the ign is triggered, and it made sense to me at first but now i kinda get whats going on.

hopefully last question. should this work using the harness I have or do I need to get the pac oem thing? the harness has a wire coming out for the amp? there are still to factory harnessess that have nothing connected to them should this be? god willing within the month I will be upgrading the amp and subs to something real so dont want to have to buy something to get the crappy bose to work rather put toward my new amp

thank you again I been going crazy

The remote output will work - that is what it is for. Just make sure you use an "amp output" and not an "antenna output" if your radio has both. If the unit has both outputs then the "antenna output" will shut off when you try to listen to a CD.

As far as harnesses go - does the radio seem to work now besides the fact it doesn't shut off? The feedback issue, depending on what it is, may be a result of not having the right harness. I do believe the bose uses low level inputs and your unit, normally, outputs high level. I believe you can make it work by splicing your preamp outputs in to the speaker inputs but someone with more vehicle specific information will have to chime in.

hey thanks and yes it has both amp output and ant output. so i should just hook everything the way it should be right?

and yes seemed to be working fine aside from a little feedback it seemed maybe thats from not hooking up right?? I just went to the shop and they gave me a different harness but only thing different is the speaker outputs are rca wires?? so instead of having a + - for every speaker its just 4 RCAs dont see how this is going to change anything with the bose but im going to rip the autozone harness out and through this in

Use the amp output for the bose amp turn on, use the antenna output for the OEM powered antenna.

Plug the RCA cables in to the head unit. As I said in my other post I believe you need preamp outputs to feed the Bose amp. The harness you have now sounds like it is set up to do this and should work.

just a quick update.... that was such a super easy install once I had the right parts lol was just like everyone said a little tedious and a little pia to shove in the but really not bad at all. Thanks to anyone that gave me some input.

only thing is the dash kit i was sold has about 1/8" opening at the top and the bottom. I went to return it and the guy said its the only one they make and that the radio should have come with some sort of a bezzel. this is bs I am sure through up a fight but wasnt gonna go crazy over 20. so I left it as is and when I start my subs etc Ill get the real one. (There is one that fits right?)
