Default rear speaker questions

i have my rears mounted with the oem mounting brackets that came with the speakers. the bracket is not flush to the car and its rattling with deep bass. is it recommended to mount the speaker with a bracket or can i mount the speaker directly to the car without the bracket

Hard to answer without having any idea which speakers you're talking about, don't you think?

You have a total of 16 threads started and 42 posts... I think you need to do a little research on here... This forum can pretty much answer ANY question you might have regarding your Z, all you have to do is SEARCH!... I know what it is like to be new on here, but after a ton of research, I don't even have to start a thread to get my questions answered anymore...

From most of your threads, it seems that you like to be spoon fed... Stop being LAZY and utilize all of the functions that MY350z has to offer us...

Here is a thread that you should read before posting in the DIY forum... https://my350z.com/forum/audio-video...e-posting.html

I assume that you replaced the rear OEM speakers with an aftermarket product. That means your new speakers may not fit with the OEM brackets. That was the case when I swapped my rear OEM Clarions with Infinity speakers.

I did use the OEM brackets by modifying them slightly (drilling new holes) and using rubber washers as “spacers.” The rubber washers also prevent vibration.
