i have my rears mounted with the oem mounting brackets that came with the speakers. the bracket is not flush to the car and its rattling with deep bass. is it recommended to mount the speaker with a bracket or can i mount the speaker directly to the car without the bracket

I did use the OEM brackets by modifying them slightly (drilling new holes) and using rubber washers as “spacers.” The rubber washers also prevent vibration.
