Blew out my Focals
So after 6 years with my Focal 165K2P components, the drivers side 6.5" driver went out.
Took the door panel out and it is stiff as a bored. The problem with Focals is they are F'n expensive. As much as I want to tell myself to get a cheaper set, I know I will get buyer's remorse if I dont go back to Focal. Wanted to vent, will be spending some $$ on a new set soon

I used to have the rep's phone number, let me see if I can dig it up for you. While I doubt they will replace it for you, he may be able to set you up with a replacement driver at a really reasonable price. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

I agree that Focals are expen$ive, and they do provide great sound. I’ve had my 165 V2 (Slim) for 8 years now. I’m in a moderate climate, although it does get quite cold where I live.
I wonder if the heat in Texas producing extreme temperatures in a car’s interior is particularly hard on speakers.

Wow Op, I just looked up your component set on Amazon and it is $749! I would be pissed if that happened to me. Hopefully the rep can help you out and get you a replacement for a discounted price.

I have a set of Excelons in my CR-V and I love the system. Those aren't good enough though?
