I have a Bose system in my Z (3rd car with bose...3rd car with audio system problems). I pretty much suck with all that is car audio. My sub keeps cutting in and out. When it's in it sounds good and normal. Usually a tap to the enclosure where the stock sub is will temporarily bring the sub back to life. Is this more than likely a sub amp problem or is there a possibility of loose wiring? I doubt it's the actually subwoofer but who knows. Any suggestions or ideas?
It's the relay inside the amp. I have the same problem. View this for a cheap temporary fix.
