Reinstalling Bose Head Unit - 2006 350Z
I just finished removing a Pioneer touch screen from my 2006 350Z and tried plugging the original Bose head unit back in with no success. I carefully removed the Pioneer harness and retaped all the spliced wires from the Pioneer install. I plugged all the connectors in properly to the back of the Bose, but I can't get it to even power on. Is there a reset button I'm missing? Perhaps a security device built in to the radio that disables it once it is removed?
I also swapped back in the factory rear speakers and reinstalled the Bose sub and amp in the rear with the factory connectors if that helps.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Is the chassis in contact with the car frame? If not, it will not complete a ground and turn on (had this happen to me when playing with my 05' Audio system. In other words, do you just have it plugged in but not inside the dash yet?
