Just bought a 350Z that has a crappy Beat stereo in it rather than the factory fitted Bose unit. Can u get replacement Bose units, or are there alternate stereo's that can be fitted and will work properly?

The factory and the bose system blows period. If you want bose, im sure you can easily pick up a used system on here. But if you want a step up and probably an easier route, pick up a double din headunit and a pair of 6.5s for the front.

 

+1. The double dins look real good in Zs, and as for speakers, alpine type r 6.5 are the best bang for your buck. phenomenal speakers, need a 1" spacer for front doors however. I would def go that route then to find a bose system

 

Welcome. I'm sure you can find a Bose unit in the Marketplace if you look around (though the factory unit is not that great). Take a look in the Audio and Video sub-forum to get an idea what others have done.
