its prob for 1 sub if there is 1 set of wires going to truck, kinda looks like the other amp is running the rest of your speakers in car.

If you're close to Philly(not sure what part of Jersey you're from) you can bring your car to me and I can check out what's going on in there. If not, go to a reputable car audio shop and have them sort out/clean up that wiring.

I'm about 15 minutes from the Burlington/Bristol bridge. No subs for sale but if I check out your set up I might be able to help you choose the right stuff.

if you could fine model number on the the amps, that would be a good place to start for us that know about this stuff to lead you in the right direction.

"one wire" doesnt mean "one sub". it is about impedence of the subs to be hooked up and what type and what power the amp is. your best bet is to go to a reputable audio shop in your area so they can tell you what you have or post up some model numbers of the amps. a sub box could have multiple subs and all could be wired in side the box to one ternimal connection on the box, that way the previous owner could have only needed one speaker wire running to the rear.

Nice find! Get those signal wire away from the power wires or you might end up with some funky noises in your speakers. I'm sure gvulakh will get you sorted out.
