Default Need opinions on my proposed setup

Hey guys, I just recently purchased an 03 350z without Bose or Nav and I want to improve the deplorable sound quality from the stock speakers. The car already had a Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD HU in it when I bought it. After hours of searching and reading I have settled on two choices: either a Boston Acoustics SR60 component setup or Boston Acoustics SR65 coaxials.

My question is: would the SR60 components be overkill if I simply plan to drive the speakers with the HU internal amp? I have no plans to add an external amp and simply want some good quality sound from decently priced speakers. The other option I'm considering is a set of Boston Acoustics SR65 coaxials. Would the increased cost and labor of the SR60s be worth it if I plan to stick with the Pioneer internal amp? Thanks in advance!

^^ It’s a good idea to match speakers to an amp with the optimum power. If you are not adding an external amplifier, the Boston Acoustics SR65 coaxial speaker is a good choice.

In that case, should I leave the stock tweeters hooked up or should I disconnect them?

^^ If you install coaxial speakers, you cannot drive the stock tweeters.

Leave the tweeters in place to save $$, but they won't be connected.
