Default Remote Starter Help!!

So I installed the st800 smart system and I wired everything up to the DIY and my Z wont start.....but when I use my OEM key it starts right up.

So there has to be a flaw in the wiring for the ST800. Also the push button light comes on and it says to push it once for the ACC to come on so i did and nothing happens????

HELP!!!

how experienced are you on this sort of install? Might be you "connected" something but it might not be crimped properly enough and disconnected as you went along. Find a buddy that might have more experience and be able to trouble shoot it quickly for you or a professional installer.

The problem with finding an installer is that there are none with the ***** to do it. I went to countless installers and they all turned me down without even offering a price to install it. I did it to the DIY on this forum and was wondering if there was a certain wire that would cause the car not to start up and the ACC not coming on with the push button start.

if you followed the DIY to the T then id guess one of your connections came loose when tucking and putting things back together...guessing that by previous experience on electrical stuff I have attempted myself (no pro here)
sucks that you cant find an installer to help you out. I would have people lining up to charge me out the wazzoo to try install one for me

maybe since you got it pretty much done you can offer some money to a professional installer you have already checked to install. explain the situation and say you give them some money to check it out. "Diagnostic Fee."

I've read that they have excellent customer service. Why not call them up?

Have you gotten it to even crank the car? What step is it stopping at? Does it ever turn the ignition on?
