Rockford Speakers Fitment?

Default Rockford Speakers Fitment?

I need to know if these will fit for the door speakers if i buy a spacer.. i just ordered these cause my fronts are blown, i bought them through amazon and i thought i was buying the p1625s but bought the p1652s and it says on crutchfield they fit the back.. does anyone know if these will fit in the front? thanks!

They will work, mine are 2.75" deep and that was the max you can go.

should i buy spacers too or just cut up the stock speakers (i dont plan to keep them cause they are blown)

They should fit either way, I did spacers for my install, especially since mine are so deep, I even had to cut at the MDF spacer a bit to make it fit correctly.

i have the same size rockford speakers and tweeters. I used the stock speaker mounts just fine.

Those are nice speakers. You will really notice the great improvement if replacing stock speakers.

The midrange will fit the stock door mount. Incidentally, this is about the deepest dimension that fits the standard front door mount in the 350Z. You should be able to use the mounting ring from the stock speakers as a spacer. You probably need to drill new holes in the old mounting ring.

Please post back to this thread after you get your new speakers mounted. Let us know how you like the Rockford Fosgate Punch P1652 component speakers. --Spike
