Thinking about ordering it cause FM transmitters suck the big one!! And I don't feel like splurging for a DVD/GPS screen yet, bills come first!

But a note, my car is currently in storage, but before I put her there I noticed that some songs had to be played at a louder volume than normal. I'm not sure whether it was the adapter or my iPhone but I believe it was the iPhone. I'll confirm this later this month when I get back, but it's still a damn great product

I spent a lot of time deciding whether to purchase a PA15-NIS or not and listen when I tell you don't bother.
It works just fine, but for its price and the fact you're going to go through the hassle of taking apart the dash anyways, think other options.
For $100 on crutchfield you can get an entry level receiver with a free trim/din kit for the 350z. Since, you're Canadian though, it'll cost you a little extra on Crutchfield Canada. I just purchased a Kenwood KDC-252U and it's better money spent. It has a USB slot on the front for IPOD compatibility. If you don't have an IPOD, you can just use a thumbdrive. I'm currently using a 32GB thumbdrive on mine. It also has an AUX input on the front. If not this receiver, there's plenty of entry level receivers these days with IPOD support for around the same price.
If you have a BOSE system you'll need to purchase a PAC ROEM-NIS2 ($30-$40) for perfect compatibility as some people report issues with connecting a receiver straight to the Bose wiring. The factory speakers in the car will always be crap, but when connecting the aftermarket receiver it sounded 10x better from the get go. After playing around with the sound settings on the receiver, it sounded even better. PA15-NIS would still work through the factory headunit, which doesn't leave you with much room for improvement.
Install was simple. With either option, you're going through the hassle of taking apart the dash. An aftermarket receiver needs to be wired, but if you're using the free harness from crutchfield (non-Bose) or the PAC ROEM-NIS2 (Bose), it's all color matching wires and was simple enough.
Both options are pretty much in the same price range even if you need to purchase the PAC ROEM-NIS2. If I were to do it again, there's no way i'd ever install a PA15-NIS over what I did. There's no benefit to the PA15-NIS whatsoever except simple plug and play. But if you're going to take the dash apart, color matching a couple wires is the least of your worries.
