Hey all!

I want to install a double DIN head unit in my 350Z. I have the brickyard touring 350Z, so it doesn't have the nav system. I want to put it where the double din where the nav system is supposed to be, but I don't want to cut up the interior at all really. Is there anyway to do this?

I want one with the navigation, touch screen and all the goodies...just I don't want to cut up the interior, and risk messing it up. Thanks in advance.

Why not put it in place of your factory double din. No cutting of the interior required then.

 

As others have figured out many times before (*cough search cough*), there isn't enough useable depth there to mount a typical double din head unit without significantly modifying the space. It's not that it's impossible, but there is no plug and play solution there.

 

Thanks for that post. I remember back in 05 I asked the same question and folk directed me to innumerable threads about where to install a double din when I didn't have the fac nav installed in the cubbie.
