Default thinking of installing XBOX in my car

Im thinking of installing an XBOX in the glovebox and was looking to get a screen for the nav location for it. Needs to be standard RCA. Any recommendations?

Also if anyone has done something like this before How did u go by powering the screen and the xbox?

Thanks

Might as well get the farenheit 7001.....has composite input, and fits perfectly. I powered mine off the stereo harness.

The 7001-t is the best fitting LCD for the Z. Power it from the Remote on, on the Stereo Harness. you will have to power the XBoX with a DC/AC adapter. You can get them at most stores for about 20-35 dollars

We power ours (PS2 or anything with left, right, video RCA cable) with a power converter located in that storage bin area under that panel. We plug it into the front of our dvd player which has an audio/video input in the front. That is located in one of the "glovebox bins". We did it this way so we dont have to keep any units in the vehicle.

We had them put a special cable that goes to the monitor incase we ever put thermal vision on like in the caddies. My dad did the night vision for that (one of the guys).

How much additional $$ did you drop on all those mods?

how good would the farenheit 7001 if i decided to hook up a PC to it? Starting to think a PC might be a better idea than a XBOX..

If i decide to hook up a PC what screen should i get (guessing it should be VGA)

The 7001 is fine for a DVD player or a gaming system, but does not have the Resolution to handle the Graphics of the PC. YOU CAN use it but the smaller Fonts of a MP3 player or Nav System would not be easy to read.

If you want to go with a VGA screen, I recomend the Xenarc 700y or 700yv
