Default DDX419 HU Install probs

Yesterday I decided to attemp my first HU install. Ordered the Kenwood DDX419 from crutchfield and it came with the metra wiring harnesses.

I hooked up all the wires accordingly except the illumination, power antenna, amplifier turn on, and amplifier shield ground. I made sure to plug my antenna back in to the HU before securing it back up.

Now the problem, my radio is not working or picking up any stations. It also will not play DVD's. It gives me the "Parking Off" message even when my parking brake is on.

Like I said, this was my first install and I'm hoping this is an easy fix. I am going to get back into it tomorrow as I forgot to hook up my dash gauges I can take and include pics as I go tomorrow but any help for now would be great.

Edit: I see that I didnt use the parking sensor wire. It doesn't say much about it in the manual that came with the HU though.

Grounding the parking brake wire should fix the DVD issue, but not the radio. You need to power the factory antenna amp:

You both have just answered my questions before I had to even get in there. I had a feeling the power antenna wire didn't mean for a power antenna literally. Should have known it needed power.

Thanks guys
