I know these probably come along every week, but I am looking for a new headunit since mine looks a bit old and its a single din. I need something with bluetooth, navi, and be ipod capable. Also whatever is necessary for components all around powered with an amp as well as a subwoofer. Price under $400 if possible, new or used. Please nothing dinosaur aged.

Look at soundoftristate.com they have factory refurbs for that price and they're newer models. They were selling a jvc navi for that price a couple of months ago.

I am installing one of these:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130SPDA...da100&skipvs=T
along with new component speaks and a single 10" sub this weekend. If you have a rooted android phone you can connect via an MHL/HDMI cable and mirror your phone onto the screen. Basically do anything your smartphone can do on the HU screen. If that's what your into. I could post some pics after the install this weekend.
This app is needed for the infortainment power:

The 3400 is a nice unit.
I installed one in my car, and ran it for a few weeks.
I hated the way my USB cable got in the way of my shifter when I had my phone plugged in, so I took advantage of crutchfields 60 day return policy and got this years 3500 model (it has a USB plug in the back, and I ran my cable from the back of the unit, to my cubby over the headunit).
As much as I liked the 3400, the 3500 is REALLY improved in a couple of ways.
the screen is slightly bigger.
but for me, the best part is, when I listen to my music on my phone using bluetooth, the unit is able to read the song artist and title over the bluetooth connection, the 3400 wasn't able to do that (at least it didn't with my phone, it played music, but i couldn't control the music selection through the headunit UNLESS I plugged in a hardwire USB to my phone).

I ended up plugging my phone in, then opening the cubby over the headunit, and setting the phone in it. I didn't bump the cable when I shifted then, but I didn't like the look of the cable running up the front, and the look of my cubby being open all the time......
I probably would have dealt with it to avoid the hassle of pulling apart my dash (its a pain in the *** to get everything tucked back in place with that white box that controls hvac under the headunit and between the mounting brackets.....), but I already had plans to pull the dash apart to run the RCA cables for my amp, so it made it worth the extra effort.
