Default Speaker Farting no bose

I noticed every single time it rains the next day i listen to music the speaker makes this weird farting sound when the bass hits. Anyone else encountered this problem before? And its only the driver side door speaker.

The speaker might be blown, or the grille may be loose. You can pop the grille off if you're careful, and see if that makes a difference. If not, then it's the speaker. Not sure what the connection to the weather is, unless the speaker is getting wet, due to water getting past the inside door seals.

If the problem only occurs after a rain storm, it must be related to moisture in the driver's side door. The stock speakers are Clarion with paper cones, making them vulnerable to moisture. --Spike

Im pretty sure its not blown because when its dry outside it doesn't make this noise.

The stock Clarion speaker is made from paper.

If moisture finds its way to this speaker, the output is “fuzzy.” You probably have a water leak that tracks along a surface allowing the speaker to get “water-logged.”

Check the driver-side window.
