I can provide an accurate answer, but need more information.

Questions:

1) Does your 2006 have a navigation system in it? (Probably not or you would not be asking the question… But, I’ve learned here to never assume anything).

2) Are we talking about the Nissan OEM navigation system (the “factory” nav’)?

Thanks for the response.

I am fairly sure it wont happen. There are a handful of inputs into the system that your car may not have…

if you're hell-bent on trying it, I have a complete OEM nav setup that I will sell if you want to take on the challenge...

It’s possible, but not practical. It would be a wiring nightmare, and after many hours of work, it may not even function. And, the OEM Clarion is DVD based so it does not provide the performance of better aftermarket navigation devices.

If youre asking this type of question then the answer is no, I wouldnt even attempt it if I were you. Youll give up before you even begin.

Spend a few hundred dollars get a decent double DIN with navigation. Youll get updated maps and a much better navigation.

Or, get a Garmin for ~$100 and install it in your cubby. There are several threads here you can search for, some for 7" screen and a flush fit, and others with a smaller screen with the mount screwed into the back of the cubby housing. Cheap, simple, effective, and updated maps are available every year (even for free, if you know where to look). I've got a Garmin 260W installed in my '08 cubby, and there is no trouble with it picking up the satellites quickly, and with no external antenna.
