Question a newb who needs some help

Hi all, this is my first post here on the forums. my name is james and i am thinking seriously about buying an 04 touring z. i have prowled the forums for some time now and have been unable to find a definitive answer on whether or not the factory installed navigation system can function while the car is in motion. if it does not then how might one go about changing it. my second question is for those of you who had to have your cars special ordered, how long did it take you guys for your car to be delivered from the time you put down a deposit.

thanks alot

the nav functions, but you can only change a few things while in motion
program one of the 1st 5 destinations in your address book
program one of the last 5 destinations
scroll to a point and set that as the destination

Track wheels run 1200-2000, generally speaking.

thank alot.
i'll have to talk to my dealer about the wheels, for 2 g's i might aswell just upgrade to Nismo Gt-4 wheels, 2000 seems a little steep for the track wheels , but whatever.:

I ordered my '03 Touring the end of March last year and picked it up on July 1rst. May not take that long for you though. If your dealer does not have the car you want, they may be able to "swap" with another dealer.

cars with nav are rare, and the dealer cant just throw it in. I waited the normal 3 months for my track with all options.
