I've been reading a little here and there and is it just me or when dealing with FI kits and the Z and G engines there are different kits that work with either the 287 and 300 HP engines?

I never thought that diff HP engines mattered when it came to getting FI. I always thought that the only thing that mattered was the application and year that the kit was going to be put into. Well anyway as I said this might be a newb ?, but was just curious.

Well, the new 300HP engines have a wideband O2 sensor (as all 350Z's made on or after July '04 do) and variable valve timing on both intake and exhaust sides so the tuning is slightly different. So far, it's mixed with the '05's and GReddy E-Manage, but Unichip (APS ST and TT) is having no problems with the maps APS supplies for 300HP engines.
