Default Which HU is best

Hey guys, i just got my Z literally 3 days ago (08 enthusiast w/ 65k manual) and i want to jam to some tunes
but i cant because it has the shitty factory radio (w/o the b(l)ose).

I've been researching some new double din HUs and i found a cheap 1 that is JVC KWV10.

However, I'm really looking for a HU to connect with my phone so if im
watching a youtube vid on my phone, it will display it on my HU. I dont know
what this is called, which is why i started a new thread, because i didnt even
know what to search for.

I'm basically looking for opinions on double din HUs that will allow me to play
music from my phone, and display my phone on the HU screen.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance (and since its manual, i also like to )

No head unit is best, choose one that fits your budget and needs.

You sure you wanna mirror your phone to your TV? Phones today have much higher resolution than radios, and it seems annoying to be looking down at a screen when you can have it in front of you.

Don't watch TV (on either phone or headunit) while you're driving!!!

If you have an IPhone then go with a Pioneer HU that has CarPlay. For some Android devices you can use MHL adapter on a HU that has an HDMI input.

I don't think the thread is subjective. OP is looking for a head unit that can do certain things.

I have a Parrot Smart. It runs Android so you can root it and install whatever apps from the Android Market you want. I have Youtube on mine. You can watch whatever videos. Just make your phone into a hotspot and open youtube.

You can also customize its appearance by downloading ADW launcher or Smart launcher like you would on an Android phone.

Bluetooth automatically syncs your contacts and you can use your voice to dial people.

I also have google maps installed on mine, and I don't know of a better map system.

The alternative is you get Pioneer AppRadio. That does apps too, but in limited amounts and only preselected ones. I hear you also need a tonne of adapters to actually make the thing work. With Parrot, it's all wireless.
