When my headlights are in the off position my Bose screen display is back lit and looks just fine. As soon as I switch my lights to PARKING or ON my Bose display goes dim -- no back light -- which is exactly when I need a back light (when it's dark outside). It's a 2003 and I bought it in May this year in such condition. I figured I could probably get it in at a dealership and fixed..if it were 2004 right now. Here 12 years later...not so sure.

Any helpful insight out there?
