Default Another Radar detector hardwire on mirror - Using bicycle reflector mount

So Google bicycle reflector mount - This has been done before on other car forums, etc...

Instead of spending money on some specific mirror mount you can simply grab a bike reflector and use the mount for your mirror radar detector install.

if needed, the reflector kits are sold online - amazon, etc for about 7 bucks and it comes with TWO mounts.

So if you have two cars you want to do this too. rock on.

wrap about 8 or 9 turns of black electrical tape around the mirror shaft - I did this because the bike mount is actually barely bigger than the nissan mirror shaft.

from there, just tighten the bolt on the bike reflector mount and it will be solid and wont move.

I found a random single bolt and nut and used that to connect the bike reflector mount to the cobra radar detector window mount metal. it already had a hole that lined up just right, so that was easy enough...

from there, position it straight, and tighten everything up...

see pics...

Wire diagram for my z was same as this link:

hooked up power to the ignition source wire and then ground to black ground wire on mirror harness and tada!

I may be copying you, the highway patrol caught me doing 15MPH over when I was running late for work the other day.
