The old beta units were engineered for the G35 coupe (like I have). A lot of people don't like the feature, so I figured it would be easiest for most people to not have it on. The factory may be small, and it may or may not be in my basement, but it is still a factory! hahaha

Up next? Right now I'm literally working on the sunroof mod that will go with the window mod. You will be able to open or crack the sunroof, and close it just like you close the windows.

When the ignition is on, the ignition is on. It doesn't matter if you start the car or not. You can start the car and program it, it is just easier to do it when the car isn't started, cuz thats one less thing to worry about!

Unfortunatly, the sunroof mod will be consdierably harder to install then the window mod. It will mount under the dash and require tapping into the ignition system, the BCM, and the sunroof control module (in the headliner). This will not be a DIY for most people.

I don't think they have a roof option. Would be great if they did. T-tops would be nice also. Seems like every other Z had T-tops.

They really don't offer a sunroof? Total mindblow. I guess thats just one more reason you all should have stepped up to a G.

Wait, I meant another reason for you all to take TWO steps up to the G! hahaha.

There is a price to pay for extra amenities in the G . It's called a back seat. hehe

It was also pointed out to me that the sharper roof line of the Z would make it hard to fit a sliding sunroof in it. I guess if you think about it (which I didn't) it would be obvious there isn't a sunroof!

I thought about that also. Besides the sunroof, there would likely be issues with the t-tops. I think the roof line is what really sets off the design of the Z. this is one reason why I really don't like the Z roadster. To me, It just doesn't look right with the top down (unlike the s2k).

Sorry for highjacking the thread.
