Default Enclosures... Who's got the BEST here?

Style, sound, quality, location, and function all factor into the enclosure's design. Innovative Aggressive or Stealth systems are what we need to see, or even just some design concepts. But, No House speakers, please.

I am sure we all want to know who's overcome the limited space issue with an enlcosure design as seemless as the car it sits in.

There is definately a demand for enclosures that don't comprimise performance or accessibility to trunk, spare, seat belt, etc. But Where is the supply??

Hopefully, someone has found the way to deliver the rest of us from the enclosure dilemma. BE A HERO. Don't hide the cure from us anylonger... break away from "audio-system-secrecy" and aid your fellow 350z enthusiasts..... It's your Duty to the Forum and the Members. - if my motivational propoganda didn't work, then show us how much smarter you are and sicker your system is- Bragging Rights are Good.

Whether its for Fame or glory, POST-UP! LET'S SEE WHO'S GOT THE BEST ENCLOSURE HERE.

Actually, if you used the search button, you would have came up with this, lots of sub installs.

Its in my signature, (2) 12's. Love the sound. Awesome.

The subs are 4 years old though. Almost time to replace them, not sure which ones I would go with though. Here is the sub I was thinking about, also I would be adding another BD1000. The one pictured on the left is a Power HX2 10", an HX2 12" is on the right. I might go with (2) 12" Power HX2's

I would not go the OEM sub box route. I heard it is a pain in the a$$ and does not sound good.

Anyway here is a a better picture of my enclosure in the tire well.

Actually you can make the tire well a false floor and the tire well can be sealed thus creating an enclosure. Thats what I did.

Basically you spray your tub with fiberglass, and use the 1/2 MDF as a baffle board.

I had an installer do it, since I suck at fiberglass.

Very slick GundamZ... so do the subs just sit there, or is it bolted to the frame?

BTW: any chance you could PM me the specs on how to build a box just like yours? You did an amazing job...

All are nice boxes. Not to be cocky, but if you want a true stealth box that is not seen, I think I have one of the best set-ups. With the set-up my friend and I created you lose your donut spare but you keep the limitted trunk space we have. I have never been one to be extreamly flashy. I like my car to look and sound good, but I don't need everyone knowing by looking at it. Here is a link to my setup

Now you see it...
