Default OEM HU swap

Hi forum.
Does anyone know if it is plug and play to swap the OEM radio’s in the 350Z’s?

I wan’t to install an original radio in my 350Z, and it was originally sold with the cassette player HU, but I would ofcourse like to install the newer HU which only features radio and CD player… But will that be plug and play with wires/plugs?

(I have searched the forum about this, but did’nt find any threads regarding this).

The 03-05 and 06+ HUs are not the same shape even tho they do plug in, they sit in different spots and are different shapes.

Another important factor to consider is the BOSE HU with the cassette player as it uses a different power output to power speakers. This won't be a simple plug-n-play swap, if you do some research.
