Default What head unit will play burnt DVDs?

I bought a RAVDVD1 from Rockford Fosgate, it will not play DVD-R discs, I will try the DVD+R but I asked tech support today and they said its not designed to read DVDR media. I read in the forum that dva-7996 plays burnt dvd+rw for one member, anyone know what head units will play burnt DVD's?

Anyone have any experience with the Pioneer dvh-p5000mp?

Thanks

I have installed a 7001 Farenheit screen in the factory nav location, looks absolutely perfect.

Also, update, today I burnt a DVD+R instead of DVD-R and it played just fine in the Rockford Fosgate unit, now I Just need to figure out the center channel because there are no voices Either I need to buy a center channel or just change from surround sound to 2channel..
