Default How To...

I am going to install my 2 subs on Saturday, but I haven't seen anything on HOW TO INSTALL THE RCA CONVERTER. My buddy said that he couldn't get to the back of factory stereo unit.

Where is the best place to put the converter? Can I get to the back of the stereo unit and if so, how. any help is greatly appreciated.

you just need the pinouts for the HU. Just tap into the rear outputs if you're just using subs. Depending on the thickness of your converter you can stick it to the back of the HU with doubleside tape or heavy duty velcro. Keep in mind you got a bout 1.5 - 2 in space between HU and rear of dash. Also that the HU gets warm and might loosen tape. If your wires are long enough you can just tape the convert on the bottom, under the white controller box. Plenty of room there.

You could tap the signal off the rears. Place you converter back there. As long as you can tell which one is + and which one is - you'll be fine. Really easy to install.
